Eagles trade Tobin to Seattle for draft pick

Tobin started 13 games at right guard for the Eagles in 2015 when he played a career-high 983 snaps after taking over for injured starter Andrew Gardner.

The Seahawks get the Eagles 7th-round pick.

The Seahawks sent a 2018 fifth-round pick to the Eagles to get Tobin and will also get a 2018 seventh-round pick in return.

The Seahawks' press release refers to the 27-year-old Tobin as a tackle, though most of his starting experience has been at guard since he entered the the league as an undrafted free agent out of Iowa in 2013.

With less than three weeks to go until the regular season kicks off, it's still not clear who's going to fill that left tackle spot, but it does look like Seattle has chose to throw another name into the mix: Matt Tobin.
