Jack Wilshere 'resigned to leaving Arsenal'

Wilshere believes his days at the Gunners are numbered after being left out of the squad for Friday night's 4-3 win over Leicester.

When quizzed if the 28-year-old frontman would be off this summer, Gunners boss Wenger said earlier this month: "Yes, because we have a congestion of strikers".

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger claims Wilshere is not yet fit after fracturing his leg in April, but the midfielder has "told friends" that he is fit and ready for selection. He is raring to go but has not been included in the squad.

"Wenger told the public that he isn't ready but Jack is feeling in top condition".

We will all remember the time that Wilshere completely bossed the game against Barcelona in the Champions League previously, but that same player has not been seen for some time now, and he appears to have given up of being the future captain at our club.

Wilshere's preference is to stay at Arsenal and he has dropped to the Under-23s in a bid to prove himself.

Wilshere does have options though as Bournemouth want him back, Crystal Palace and West Ham United are also keen, while there is also plenty of interest from overseas.

Wilshere's contract expires at the end of the season, meaning he could be available for a cut-price bargain.
