Rizzo, who spoke to the media, said Harper will be placed on the disabled list. Harper slipped on the top of the bag and skidded forward, his knee twisting grotesquely.

Over time, Morse's symptoms did not subside, and the 35-year-old elected to return home from Florida to recover from the head trauma with his family. A bruise! Maybe Harper will be back out there in another week or two! .

San Francisco Giants' Gorkys Hernandez, right, steals second against Washington Nationals shortstop Wilmer Difo (1) during the fourth inning of the first baseball game of a split doubleheader, Sunday, Aug. 13, 2017, in Washington. "He's going to get an MRI", manager Dusty Baker said.
