The two will compete to be the Packers' long snapper in 2017.

Goode, 32, spent the first nine years of his National Football League career in Green Bay after being signed to the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent in 2007. He served as Green Bay's primary long snapper from 2008-16, playing in 142 regular-season games and 14 playoff contests. For the next nine seasons, the job was Goode's to lose.

Goode's signing puts the Packers back at a maximum of 90 players on the active roster after releasing Letroy Guion last Tuesday. He will wear No. 61 for the Packers. Rookie Derek Hart has been handling the long snapping duties during training camp.
