'I'm already in Aso Rock' - Fayose boasts at PDP convention

Makarfi said this on Saturday at the party's non-elective national convention in Abuja.

Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State has asked Nigerians to start sending in congratulatory messages on his 2019 presidency as he is "in Aso Rock already".

The Vanguard reports that the Fayose, who is also the chairman of PDP Governors Forum, officially unveiled his presidential ambition at the convention.

According to him, "Nigerians have entered one chance in this government".

German Chancellor Angela Merkel said the escalating rhetoric was the "wrong answer" and saw no military solution to the crisis. As North Korea's only real ally, China has more influence than any other nation over the hermit nation.

"The crowd here in the convention arena is a testimony of what is happening in Nigeria; the party is now a religion and a belief that we are going back to "our villa". My own won't be this change that has brought nothing, we are going to represent the people well and tell them the truth", Fayose had said. God will be with us.

The team members were dressed in the governor's 2019 presidential campaign shirt and cap and carried his campaign posters. "Those people there, at Aso Rock, they don't know what they are doing", said the governor who had earlier launched his presidential campaign on the social media, though Nigeria's electoral body, the Independent National Electoral Commission is yet to blow the whistle for commencement of campaign for the next general elections.

"Out of that one chance, we will give you plenty chances". We make mistakes but our ability to correct them if what is important. "I don't know about you but as for me, I am in Aso Rock already", the governor said while asserting that he is confident that the PDP will take power back from the ruling APC in 2019.

"I want to congratulate our great party and to assure Nigerians that we are going to deliver them from all they are passing through", said Fayose.
