Boynton Beach man accused of raping girlfriends' daughters


According to a probable cause affidavit, a woman in Lexington, Kentucky, called police after finding her stepdaughter's diary and reading an entry, written in letter form and addressed to Pridemore, in which the girl wrote, "You raped me for about three years".

Pridemore had lived with the child and the woman in Boynton Beach and would "forcibly have sex" with the child when her mother was at work, police said.

Boynton Beach police spokeswoman Stephanie Slater said in a news release that the stepmother of the 13-year-old girl now living in Lexington, Kentucky, came across an entry in her diary in May that accused Jackson Pridemore of raping her during those years.

Pridemore had a pattern of moving in with single mothers of youn girls and then sexually battering the children when left alone with them, she said.

During the investigation, detectives learned of two more incidents in which Pridemore was alleged to have sexually abused other girls. When he was arrested, he was found to be living with another single mother.

Pridemore is charged with sexual assault on a child under the age of 12.
