Apart from the Phab series devices, two Lenovo tablets (Lenovo Tab3 7 Essential and Tab3 10 Business) that were launched past year will also not receive the Android 7.0 Nougat update. Now as per a report of Android Police, company's official software upgrade page has revealed that there will be no Nougat 7.0 update for the Lenovo's entire Phab series of smartphones.

You are not alone, none of the Phab devices are getting the update. The Phab 2 Pro is a 4G-enabled smartphone and that runs on Android Marshmallow and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor.

It is always disappointing when a device won't be getting any more latest OS update, especially since the Phab 2 Pro was launched just a year ago. The device supports quick charging. On the camera front, the Phab 2 Pro sports a 16MP rear camera with PDAF, a Time of Flight Sensor used for detecting the depth of field and an IR sensor that senses the motion. The Phab 2 Pro features a 6.4 inch Quad HD IPS display and is backed by a 4050mAh battery.

The Lenovo Phab 2 Pro debuted in India during January this year. In addition to the aforementioned devices, the company also mentioned that the Tab3 7 Essential will stay on Android Lollipop 5.0 and the Tab3 10 Business will stay on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. This was launched with Android Marshmallow, last November (i.e. after Nougat was already available), for $500.
