The upcoming Galaxy S8 Active smartphone is expected to feature a rugged design, and will probably be AT&T exclusive. Several reports claim that the smartphone might only be available for purchase exclusively in the USA markets; however, that seems far from happening especially given the fan base that Samsung has all over the world including its home-market, South Korea.

According to a report published by TechRadar, the upcoming Galaxy S8 Active is going to come packed with a tough-look and rugged features, in order to ensure the durability of the same. All of the deals that the company is already offering for the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus also apply to the Galaxy S8 Active, AT&T confirmed.

The Galaxy S8 Active goes up for pre-order starting tomorrow before hitting stores on August 11.

The S8 Active will be up for sale at AT&T via its Next plans, which start at $28 per month for 30 months.

Underneath the hood, you'll find the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chip, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage with microSD card slot.
