Ms. Garg was first hit by the speeding SUV, flinging her in the air after which she was run over by the other SUV vehicle approaching. Both the vehicles drove off after hitting her. One of the onlookers managed to note down the three digits of the Scorpio's registration number and handed it over to the police. The eyewitness told us that the Scorpio was green in colour. However, the police are still clueless about the other auto who hit Ms. Garg. They are questioning locals and trying to find CCTV footages that could give them clues of the errant driver. The eyewitness, Dhruv Singh, said the two speeding vehicles appeared to be racing against with each other. She missed her surgery scheduled on Thursday due to low platelet count and is now on ventilator support at the AIIMS Trauma Centre. She had joined the institute around two years back after her father's death.
