One employee shoots another at Burger King in Middle Tennessee


The victim was at Intermountain Medical Center being treated for multiple stab wounds.

Police apprehended the suspect around 8:30 p.m.

The victim said he offered to buy the man some food, but would not give him money.

According to police, the victim was in the drive-through of a Burger King on 3975 West and 4700 South when a man approached him with his window open.

And during that time, the court asked him general questions in regard to his name and address, which he responded calmly. The case is on the illegal possession of arms which were allegedly used to kill the blackbucks in 1998.

The suspect then stole the victim's cellphone, wallet and cash. The suspect fled the scene. He also matched the physical description the victim had provided.

Quickly after the shooting, the suspect ran from the restaurant and led an officer on a short foot chase, but he was ultimately taken into custody.

Police said they had received a harassment call from the same Burger King earlier in the day. None of the victim's property was recovered from Moreno.

"Antonio made a statement stating the other guy is dead, but would not elaborate any further", according to the reporting officer. He's been booked on aggravated robbery and aggravated assault charges.
