WhatsApp to Introduce In App Youtube Playback for Videos Soon

Yeah well, watching videos on WhatsApp can get pretty inconvenient at times as the social messaging app doesn't support YouTube videos yet.

WhatsApp may soon allow you to run YouTube videos within the chat app, reports the fans site WaBetaInfo. However, any regular WhatsApp user will know that the app does not allow its members to play YouTube videos directly in the app.

How many times did you receive a YouTube link on WhatsApp and you were annoyed that WhatsApp opened YouTube to view it? Also, you can browse through your messages inside the WhatsApp chat as well, by hiding the video on the side.

You can pinch on the Picture in Picture mode in order to expand it, or you can open the video in a new WhatsApp section to view it in full screen mode. This feature is not available ti the public as it is now in testing phase. The update is available only on the 2.17.40 beta version of WhatsApp for iOS and there is no word on when the company will release a similar update for the Android operating system. This maybe because of a need for larger display size for videos, the report said.

Trump's approval ratings hit new low
Forty-eight percent say America is weaker than it had been before Trump took office, with only 27 percent saying it's stronger. Among groups, half of white evangelicals see him as a good role model, fewer than might be expected in a key support group.

WhatsApp keep on rolling out new features on and off.

However, it is the users of Apple devices who have come across this new feature. Unless the Facebook owned company finds a problem with this feature or too many bugs are not found, we can expect the launch of the feature soon.

The news arrives via WABetaInfo, which claims that WhatsApp is now testing the feature with a small number of users on iOS devices.
