A Maryland mother is missing after she left her daughter with another couple in an Atlanta, Georgia, airport, according to Atlanta police.
Miranda Hakimi Harvey, a 29 year old Denton, Maryland mother has caused disconcert after abandoning her four year old daughter with two strangers at Atlanta airport. Pickard said she asked the couple to watch the child while she did some quick shopping. "She never returned", Atlanta police Sgt. Warren Pickard said.
Police say Harvey rented white Nissan Versa with the Florida tag HKNA25 and left town.
Police need the public's help in locating a woman they said abandoned her child alone in Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport earlier Friday. The vehicle was rented at the airport and bears a license plate tag which reads HKNA2.

A second victim named Friday was Khadija Saye, a 24-year-old photographer who had exhibited at the Venice Biennale. The group left after a meeting that lasted more than two hours but did not speak to reporters gathered outside.
'Who would leave a four-year-old child with strangers? What their connection is to Atlanta is still unknown.
The unidentified 4-year-old girl was placed in police custody until relatives could be reached to come to Atlanta and assume at least the temporary care of the child. "Even if you were going to shop, a wise person would not do that".
"Harvey is described as a 5'02", 135-pound woman with brown hair and brown eyes.
Police positively identified Harvey at the hotel after they received a call just before 10am Saturday, alerting them to her whereabouts. If anyone has information on where she might be, they are asked to call police.
